My Family Website - How it works

You can create and join an unlimited amount of families/communities by simply registering on the site.
All families/communities are private so you can be sure that unless invited, others will not see the ones you are part of or the ones that you have created.
To create one you can simply click on "create new", type in a name, and you're set!
Once you are part of a family /community, you can invite others that are already registered on the web site or you can send an invitation email to friends and family that you would like to join

By filling in information about your birthday and your anniversary, everyone who is part of your family/community can see when they are coming up

There are two ways to send a message to people in your family/community. The first is a general announcement that can be used to let everyone know about something. For example, an upcoming wedding, party, or anything else.

You will always have an address book and contact information of all members belonging to your family/community. And you can always see who is online and available.

This website works together with www.writemymemoirs.com. In fact, you can use your account to log in to the other site and write your life's stories and memoirs. Once you do, you can share them with other family members
You can even share some stories with certain family/community members and not others!

We offer a simple to use photo album feature that allows you to organize your pictures and show them to your friends and family. This is a private photo album and you get to chose to sees the pictures and who doesn't.
